An example
Acme Watches sells one automatic watch. Ad one leads with heritage: a 1960s design, reissued. Ad two leads with gifting: an anniversary present he will wear every day. Ad three leads with value: a classic look for under $300. Same product, same 15-second format, three angles, and each one pulls in a different buyer.
Why it matters
Angle usually moves results more than polish does. A new color grade on a tired angle rarely revives it, while a new angle can open up an audience the account was missing. Knowing the angle of each ad also lets you read results by angle instead of ad by ad, which is how you learn what your market actually buys.
How to improve it
List the three to five reasons real customers give for buying; reviews, support tickets and post-purchase surveys are good sources. Write one angle per reason, test them in similar formats so the angle is the main variable, and tag every ad with its angle so the pattern shows after a few rounds.
