MCP server
Connect Claude, Cursor or any MCP client to Fovea and ask about your creatives, products and Meta ads performance.
Fovea runs a hosted Model Context Protocol server, so an AI assistant can search your creative library, rank winners and read ad performance for one workspace.
- URL:
https://api.foveahq.com/mcp - Transport: streamable HTTP
- Auth: an API key as a bearer token:
Authorization: Bearer fov_...
The assistant sees exactly what the key can see: one workspace, the key's scopes, and money only with the Money scope. Included on every paid plan.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http fovea https://api.foveahq.com/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer fov_your_key"
Cursor
Add to ~/.cursor/mcp.json, then turn the server on under Cursor's MCP settings:
{
"mcpServers": {
"fovea": {
"url": "https://api.foveahq.com/mcp",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer fov_your_key" }
}
}
}
Claude Desktop
Claude Desktop reaches hosted servers that use a bearer key through the mcp-remote bridge (needs Node.js). Add to claude_desktop_config.json and restart Claude:
{
"mcpServers": {
"fovea": {
"command": "npx",
"args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://api.foveahq.com/mcp", "--header", "Authorization:${FOVEA_AUTH}"],
"env": { "FOVEA_AUTH": "Bearer fov_your_key" }
}
}
}
Tools
| Tool | Access | What it does |
|---|---|---|
whoami | read | Workspace, scopes and whether money is visible |
search_assets | read | Search creatives by words, tags or media type |
get_asset | read | One creative with analysis, linked products and ads, collections, performance |
top_creatives | read | Rank creatives by spend, ROAS, CTR, impressions or purchases |
list_collections | read | Collections with asset counts |
create_collection | write | Create a collection, optionally with assets |
add_to_collection | write | Add assets to a collection |
list_products | read | Your Shopify catalog |
get_product | read | A product and its creatives |
ads_summary | read | Meta ads totals and top ads, or one ad's numbers |
Write tools need a key with the Write scope; with a read-only key the assistant gets an error and nothing changes.
Try: "Which five creatives had the best ROAS in the last 30 days, and what hooks do they share?" or "Make a collection called Q4 winners with the top 10 creatives by spend."
Today the server authenticates with an API key. Signing in through Fovea from the MCP client (OAuth) is planned.
