Understand performance

Stats and Winners

Read your account the way a media buyer does: headline KPIs, daily trends, the creative leaderboard, winners versus losers, and hook and hold rate.

Stats is where synced Meta performance turns into decisions. It is available on Growth and above and needs a connected Meta account.

Pick a window of 7, 30 or 90 days at the top. Everything except Library health follows it.

Exec strip

The headline numbers for the window: spend, blended ROAS, active winners, share of spend on winners, creative velocity (new creatives added, with week-over-week change), active creatives, CTR, impressions, and hook and hold rate.

A winner is an ad at or above the winner ROAS line (1.5 by default).

Trend chart

One metric per day across the window, with zero-filled days so the line never breaks. Use the metric selector to switch what you are looking at.

Creative leaderboard

Your top ads by spend with a ROAS heat scale (red to green) and a lifecycle chip:

  • Winner: at or above the winner line with meaningful spend.
  • Testing: still gathering spend.
  • Underperforming: spending below the line.
  • Paused: no longer delivering.

Sort by any column.

Winners vs losers

A scatter of ROAS against spend, with dot size showing purchases. The chart splits at the winner line and at median spend into four groups: scale, keep pouring in, cut, and test more. This view needs revenue access, because it is built on ROAS.

Hook and hold rate

  • Hook rate = 3-second video plays / impressions.
  • Hold rate = ThruPlays / 3-second video plays.

Fovea stores the daily counts, so both rates are recalculated correctly for any window instead of averaging percentages. Static ads show a dash, not 0%. Want to sanity check numbers outside Fovea? Use the free hook rate calculator, and read how to read hook rate vs hold rate.

Library health

How much of the library has been analysed, the image and video mix, the product suggestion review funnel, and how much of your catalog has creative linked to it.

Performance on a single creative

Open a creative and go to its Performance tab. Link it to the Meta ads that used it (search the synced ads list) and it shows all-time spend, ROAS, conversions, CTR, a daily trend and a row per linked ad with its status. Linking is manual today. Automatic ad-to-creative matching is Coming soon

Who sees money

Roles without revenue access see engagement metrics and share of spend, never dollar amounts. See Workspaces and roles.
